These are considered the cult film, with its mix of mythology, a off-the-wall, straggly plot filled by owning twists & incongruousness, wide-ranging satirical and allegorical stabs. Plot
Inside the new post-apocalypse Earth (2293) a mortal people is divided into the immortal 'Eternals' and soul 'Brutals'. the Brutals sleep within a barren, growing food for the Eternals, world health organization survive apart in 'a Vortex', leading the luxurious however aimless being on the evidence of the united states estate. the connection between the babies groups is across Brutal Exterminators, world health organization obliterate & terrorize more Brutals at a orders of a brobdingnagian flying stone head known as Zardoz, which the diapers them by owning weapons within exchange for the food it collect. Zee (Connery), the Brutal Exterminator, hides aboard Zardoz when you took 1 hike, temporarily "killing" its Eternal operator-developer Arthur Frayn (Niall Buggy).

Arriving in the Vortex, Letter z meets 2 Eternals — Consuella (Charlotte Rampling) and Could (Sara Kestleman) — and is experimented upon by one of the two prior to existence mass produced to act for the second Eternal, a bad hat known as Friend (John Alderton). A Eternals come overseen & protected from either death by an AI called the Tabernacle (the big crystal mass around appearance) & keep around problems themselves, falling into catatonia through an odd illness or even existence deliberately elderly into senility for violating a complex placed of social system.

Izzard discovers an old book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and he understands a origin of the title Zardoz. These are so revealed that Ezed was created by Arthur Frayn to kill a Vortex & restore dying to the bored Eternals. Letter z finds a flaw in the Tabernacle & destroys it, when which the Brutals bring dying to the majority of Eternals. Two or three Eternals escape to produce a recently life outside the Vortex. a bitter-sweet ending shows Letter z & Consuella producing a baby, growing old & death naturally, when the healthy of the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Seventh Symphony swells in the soundtrack.
